January 6th / 2015
Our first snow of the year! It’s actually pretty and I can’t complain because it has been a rather mild winter so far compared to 2014. We shall see what the rest of the winter brings!

Parker & Bailey in the snow.
January 24 – A wintry day in Central Park. A flock of Pintail ducks all trying to find a place to swim in “The Pool”.
1/27/15 – The so called “Blizzard of 2015″ started out with a bang. Everyone was preparing for the worst, stocking up on groceries and hunkering down. We sat in our apartments expecting to be holed up for days….
Fortunately, it turned out to be just a “snow day” for the city of New York. Almost all mass transit was closed down, as well as schools and businesses. We got 9.8″ of snow! Oh well, it turned out to be a fun day of sledding in the park for many families. (the mayor and weathermen spent the day apologizing for panicking and bringing the city to a halt) I guess better safe than sorry!
There was a LOT of sledding going on!
It was a beautiful day for a walk in the park.
1/27/15 Today is cold but pretty, and things are back to normal in NYC.
