Oatmeal is my “go to” breakfast most mornings. It has so many health benefits from lowering cholesterol to being healthy for your heart. It not only tastes delicious, but you can easily add other ingredients to change it up and add even more nutrition. Almost any kind of fruit can be added (fresh or dried), as well as nuts, and pumpkin, sunflower, flax, chia & hemp seeds. You can choose to add agave, honey, raw sugar or maple syrup, or simply use the fruit to sweeten it. I like coconut milk on mine, but you can use soy or regular milk too. It is a great way to start the day!
