Spring is officially finally here! It is pretty exciting to see the first true signs of it appearing in Central Park after the long cold winter we all went through.
A patch of Snow Drops under a tree at the Conservatory in Central Park.
Snow Drops poking out from the cold hard ground, amongst the dried leaves and bits of leftover snow.
3/23 The first crocuses peeking up from the ground. Warm weather is around the corner – although it is still pretty cold outside!
4/6/15 – The Conservatory in Central Park – The first daffodils of the season have opened!
and some vibrant purple crocuses..
Today was a beautiful day in the city and everyone was out in the park making the most of the warm weather. There were even people fishing at the Harlem Meer.
I took a walk through the conservatory and it was amazing just how many more flowers were in full bloom. There was a variety of tulips and also daffodils in many vibrant colors.
One of my favorite flowers of all time was in bloom – lilacs!
There is nothing like the sweet scent of lilacs that always reminds me of spring days!
Central Park is the colors of spring finally!
