On July 4th, 2016 at 4:30 AM,  my granddaughter Lyla May Hochstin was born. I was very excited to meet her. She was born on the 4th of July! Sean, Chase & Lyla in the hospital. When fruit is so readily available in the summer, a great way to use it up is in a nice colorful fruit filled pie. This is a summer dessert pie that is delicious and also nutritious! It uses stone fruits and berries along with high protein ricotta, and oats & nuts for the crust - all which are really healthy foods.
